Class Presentation

So we did our presentation's in class on Thursday and this presentation was all about our campaigns that we have been working on. I think everyone did really good, and the thing that was really exciting was when all of the groups said that they wanted to continue with their campaign even after class was over. I hope we gain more followers and supporters on our campaign so that it can last. I really have a lot of passion for the youth of all ages and I want to see them do great things in the world. I want to help them find that passion and find God and help guide them in the right direction.
I know there are many parents out there who do not have enough time for their children, because they have to work or they have other priorities. I think a lot of the times children act out because of that. See children and teens need attention, they feed off of that, and they need it mainly from their parents. If they do not get that attention or love that they are looking for then they will go somewhere else fast. I know a lot of children and teens who are looking for love in all of the wrong places, and they seem to not care about their body or themselves. It is really sad to see the youth struggling in that area, because it could have been avoided in the early stages of their life. Their parents could have been there more or could have showed them the love and affection that they were missing. I believe that more parents should be around more in their children's lives. It truly makes a difference.
As for the presentation, my partner and I really enjoyed it. We were hoping that we could come up with some unique ideas, but we kept running into brick walls. It was hard to think of other ideas that our classmates have not come up with yet. I think the one idea that worked pretty well was about us having a camp one day. My partner and I would love to hold an event to see how many people would agree with our ideas about holding a camp for the youth maybe once a month or whatever. We really want to be there for all of the youth and help bring them to Christ. If we can get enough followers and supporters I think it could happen.
The issue that were running into now is that we need more supporters..but we are climbing the ladder each and every day. So God willing our dreams of helping the youth could come true!!
