Experience

I figured I should talk about my experience in general with this campaign. I have to say that I really am enjoying the idea behind it and the progress we are making with the amount of people we are gaining daily. We have already met three of our goals! I am very happy about that.
I'm waiting for more and more people to follow us on twitter @faithinouryouth and to and write us on our facebook along with an e-mail @ faithinouryouth@aim.com. I think the more people we gain, the more ideas will flow for us. I think that since my partner and I are extremely busy everyday, it is hindering us from doing more for our campaign. Fortunately, we have decided to have our event this week at Houston Baptist University, and if not there we plan on going to Chick-fil-a and talking with some of the youth with the permission of the parents.

I really hope that everything works out for us, because we really want this campaign to run. I think if I had more time to put into this campaign i could come up with some really unique ideas. Since this is a class project, I am a bit limited to all that I can do, because of time restraints for our semester.
I think my experience with this project is positive, because my passion is something that everyone can see when I talk about the Youth. So, when go to talk to the youth, I want them all to see how much passion I have for helping them. I want them to look back on their lives and appreciate what Christ has done for them. I think that if the youth can see how much love a person has for them then they will gravitate to that person. This campaign can be a huge one if my partner and I can come up with some original ideas. So, I have taken the initiative to write it on our facebook and twitter to tell eveyone to comment and leave us ideas about our campaign. As to how they can give us some ideas about our campaign or our upcoming event. As of right now, we are not successful, because not many people have left us comments or twitts about really anything. So the real task is getting our followers to do so and fast.
Overall, I this campaign has helped me to realize how hard something like this can be. There is a lot of things to consider when running a campaign. I think the hardest thing for us besides gaining followers on twitter and having people to comment on our wall, is our event. We hope that we will have permission to use Glasscock, but if now we will have to resort to our second option. I mean yea I know that a campaign is not easy, but I did not realize that it was this difficult either. Eventhough I have a really busy schedule, I still make time to get on our sites and check on our pages. So it is time consuming, but hey someone has to do it in order for it to be successful. God willing, we will have a successful campaign very soon!!
God Bless :P
