Ok So yes, I know I was a tad upset on the last blog I wrote, but I have a reason to be. I really want more people to care about the youth and show it. They really need direction and love and I cannot stress that enough.
This week my partner and I have been talking about what we can do for our event, and I think we have a great idea. We need permission to do this, but we are thinking that if we hold a small event on campus for the youth then this can help the future of our campaign. We are thinking of getting a lot of youth to meet us in the gym or Glasscock to play ping pong, or basketball, or video games and then after an hour of that we will sit down and talk to them in a group. This would give us the opportunity to be able to talk to them about how they feel about things, and what they want. We want to hear what they think about Christ.
After we all talk for an hour we will get them all to write their prayers down and fold them up and stick them in a prayer box. Then we will all pray over them and give them another hour to play and conclude with prayer. I think this will be a great start for them, and to give them some encouragement and knowledge about Christ.
I really want us to succeed, so I thought about having my partner and I volunteer at a place that helps kids, and demonstrates Christ's love to them. This would be a great way to network and would give us some ideas for our campaign. Hopefully, they will allow us to work with their children regularly so we can gain more experience and knowledge about what a lot of the kids are going through. We want to be able to help the kids in any way we can. We are very passionate about children, because we know that they really need someone with them and around them who can be a positive influence on them. I think that we could really make a difference with children if given the chance.
Hopefully everything will work out for us so that we can make this campaign a reality. So if your following me make sure you add us on facebook and twitter, Faith In Our Youth is the name, and you can also e-mail us at Faithinouryouth@aim.com.
Thank you and have a blessed day!!
